Welcome to the Forum
Welcome to the website of the Forum Cinema Hexham. Tynedale's only cinema - owned by the Hexham Community Partnership - it is operated for the benefit of the local community. Situated in the heart of this historic market town, the cinema, which dates back to 1937, shows the latest films in authentic and comfortable surroundings. Enjoy a delicious cup of freshly made fair trade coffee or a tub of local ice cream in our beautifully refurbished café overlooking the market place before stretching your legs in the spacious auditorium. Scott's also plays host to a changing programme of art exhibitions and live music sessions.

* Dolby surround sound
* Car parking nearby
* School packages (special films by arrangement)
* Birthday party packages/gift vouchers
* Digital projector with 3D we have chosen the Xpand 3D system as we believe this gives the best 3D experience without compromising the quality of the 2D films. Please note that the majority of 3D glasses from other cinemas/home systems ARE NOT compatible with our system. Glasses are hired at £2 a pair to cover handling and cleaning costs. Please handle the glasses with care– they are very expensive to replace as all the active technology is within the glasses themselves. You will not be able to watch a 3D film without the 3D glasses.
Join The Forum Film Club!
The Forum Film Club is an informal film club that meets at the Forum to see and talk about films: once a month on the first or second Thursday to see a current release, and also on occasional Sundays for the world cinema showing. Discussions are in Scott's café/bar. No film knowledge is required, just enthusiasm for film. Background info, reviews and further reading is made available. (For more info contact: lyn@lynwardeditorial.co.uk or Forum Film Club on Facebook.)
